THE BEST! Let me start with the tour guide, Courtney Jay! She was a breeze, an absolute gem of a person. Her passion and her commitment to what she does is inspiring. She was vivacious, fun, kind, generous, always smiling, full of knowledge and I can't honestly say enough how grateful I am to have met her and spent that time with her. Love you CJ! I was initially skeptical of never having camped a day in my life, and here I was planning a 4 day camping trip straight into the outback. But now I can say that it was one of my most cherished memories, in Australia or my life in general. Mulgas Adventures takes you on a journey of incredible experiences and wonderful people. We covered alot of the sites, Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon, watched sunrises and sunsets and everyday was a unique experience. The food was delicious and watching the stars, sleeping in a swag was such a humbling experience, puts things straight into perspective. Amazing views of Uluru, seeing sunrise and sunset, camping under the stars and hiking around Kings canyon. We were in a group of 20 and did the four day trip. A dream come true ✨ I don't regret to choose this tour cause I spent the most beautiful time in my life. We were guided by Taylor who made a wonderful work during all those days! We haven't seen just the Uluru, we also learned about aboriginal culture, and the geology of this land. Full view! A superb tour thanks to Taylor, who in a good mood introduced us to the red center and its little ones. The 3 day tour suited us perfectly. You are part of a group of around twenty friendly and international people in a small bus, the guide provides you with drinks and snacks throughout the day, then takes you to the camp to eat and spend the night, with wake up early to enjoy the sunrise. The experience is well worth the price because car rentals and accommodation are very expensive locally, as long as you agree to put your comfort aside for a few days. Nights on the ground can be scary but the swag has its charm and is part of the experience. Consider taking a Flynet against the many flies. Thanks again Taylor!

Epic Adventure I had such an amazing experience with Mulgas Adventures in The Outback! The four days we spent camping, hiking, hanging out, and touring the awe inspiring Uluru, Kata Tjuṯa, and Kings Canyon were absolutely incredible. Laura & Taylor, our guides for this adventure were instrumental to this awesome experience. Beyond their skillfulness with guiding a large group of campers for four days in The Outback, they also brought a gigantic dose of friendship, kindness, and fun that made the trip even more special and memorable. Experiencing life in the outback is something you have to do and see! Laura was the best tour guide! We were always at the different spots before others arrived which made a huge difference as we had the places to ourselves. Laura shared a huge amount of interesting knowledge throughout the trip and has so many fun stories too! You will experience so many breathtaking views, the photos don’t do it justice! Sleeping in swags, gazing at the outback stars next to the fire, unreal. If there’s one thing you need to do whilst travelling Australia, it is this tour. It's enough for you to be alone I traveled alone and my English communication was not good. But everyone understood and cared about me. I was able to do that because of Laura, our guide. Laura was a witty person and a kind and pleasant person who took care of every little detail. The places we went on the tour were perfect and the food was ample, so it was nice. The itinerary is perfectly planned to experience amazing hikes, stunning views, bush camp life & downtime, all whilst avoiding the extreme mid-day heat & masses of tourists! Laura went above & beyond to make sure we all got the most out of our stay, she was super organised and managed the group well but also felt a part of the team rather than a bossy leader 😅 Her knowledge of the outback and aboriginal culture is admirable & she portrays it in an engaging & easy way of understanding! The best tour in Australia!! The most amazing, breathtaking and unforgettable experience I’ve had in Australia. Every day just kept getting better and better, and the views don’t stop coming. Sleeping under the stars in the middle of nowhere in the Outback is truly a once in a lifetime experience and not one to be missed!! Laura was the best tour guide anyone could ask for, she was fun and easy going, but also made sure that we were up and ready to be the first group to every destination which meant that we had the places to ourselves and front row seats to the best views in Aus. As a girl that hasn’t done much camping sleeping outside was a worry but it was one of my highlights getting to sleep under the stars and getting to enjoy them every night before sleeping. 4 days rock to rock tour ✨ The perfect camping/hiking/discovery experience of Uluru and so much more. From the indigenous culture and history to the magical landscape I discovered and learned so much. Leelee and Simon are passionate as well as fun and it makes the experience ten times better. A minimum were asked of us just wood finding for the fires and some dishes and general cleaning. The food was sooo good (great chefs and great guides, what a resume). I have never been hungry or thirsty, which was my concern. Sleeping in the swags was so much fun I loved going to sleep and waking up to the stars. Honestly just do it it’s a priceless adventure. Rock to Rock 4 day Tour - April 2024 Went on the Rock to Rock 4 day tour guided by Lee Lee & Simon finishing mid April. These guys are legends and were so knowledgeable about the area. It was a really good balance of history/culture but still super fun and laid back. The scenery is amazing (and Uluru really is just one part of the whole unreal trip), but the group of people and our guides really made it special. In my opinion, the tour is really good value for money considering there are one day tours for over half the price. If you’re debating doing 3 or 4 days, definitely opt for the 4 as the third night at Bush Camp is definitely the best. I also emailed mulgas twice in relation to two separate queries in the lead up to the tour and they got back to me really quickly and were very professional and easy to deal with. I’d go as far as to say it has been the best experience of my time in Aus so far! Thanks for the memories guys, I’ll be back to do Alice to Darwin in a few months 😉

Sleeping under the stars Simon and Lee Lee were my guides and they were phenomenal!! They were so accommodating and really looked after us (even made us brekkie in bed). Not only were they extremely knowledgeable about the culture of the land but were respectful of the nature. Food was amazing, plentiful and accommodated for my veganism. The only word I can use to describe this tour was “magical.” The sites were above and beyond every expectation in terms of beauty, the hikes were incredibly rewarding, but what makes a tour really stand out is the organisation of the company and tour guide. Laura was a professional, in every sense of the word, as our tour leader. She went above and beyond to ensure everyone in the group was looked after, involved and having a great time. Her expertise of the culture, history, natural landscape , flora and fauna, meant I walked away from this trip with knowledge and experiences I will have for a lifetime. Laura’s approach to making sure everyone was on schedule meant we had the privilege of seeing the sites from the best viewing spots and at the best times of day. Visiting the Red Centre was high on my bucket list and I’m so glad I chose to experience it with Mulgas. If you’re young or a solo traveller/backpacker then this is definitely the tour to go on. It covers all of the best sites to see in the Red centre, the food and camping was great and the itinerary is well thought out. In particular, a big shout out to our guides CJ and Leelee who worked really hard to make the trip as fun and interesting as possible. Really admire their ability to keep positive vibes going at all times and chat with everyone, even though the days are very long and tiring! Yes you have to help with cooking, washing up and other tasks, but when shared between all of the group members, it really isn’t a hardship and it all adds to the experience. Sleeping in a swag was better than I thought it was going to be - surprisingly comfortable and we were lucky to have incredible views of the stars. One thing to consider if you travel in April is that the flies can be hard work at times, however the weather was perfect and you avoid the busy season winter months so overall it was probably a price worth paying! Highly recommend this to other solo travellers and backpackers, and it’s nice to support a family owned local business!

Trying camel burgers and kangaroo steaks in the outback is something I won’t forget! Unforgettable experience. Do it, do it now! I have zero regrets other than I can’t do it again, and again, and again! Uluru, Kata Tjuṯa and Kings Canyon were some of the most impressive and inspiring natural formations I have ever witnessed. The peace and quiet at the remote star covered campsites, with my feet in the red sand, was almost spiritual. The tour itinerary was a wonderful balance of discovery, wonder and rest. Our guide Phill, was awesome! effortlessly ticking all the boxes: calm, funny, knowledgeable, organised… and had a stash of TimTams! Often missed from reviews is the care taken when driving the tour bus. I am a bus driver and I have a hard time being a passenger as I am always trying to use an imaginary brake pedal. Not this time, I could sit and watch the scenery waft past without a care. Even when some Brumbies decided to run across the road in front of us. Everything was amazing, Phil took it up a level.

Amazing! I was a bit nervous about the trip before as I was joining on my own, but I quickly discovered it was an exciting adventure in a van. Rachel and Taylor knew a lot about outback in Australia, I learnt so much over the few days. They even made some trouble into something to enjoy and I had a great time entire trip. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and Mulgas made it even more special with their fantastic guides and beautiful camping spots. Despite a few bumps along the way, Rachel, our amazing guide, tackled any challenges in no time with a smile. Amazing experience with Rachel I had a good time at the 4d3n tour. We were lucky enough to have rain in the area, to see rivers, ponds and waterfalls in places where they are usually dry. Our guide, Rachel, is cheerful, knowledgeable, funny, capable and optimistic. From her we learnt about the dream time stories, local Fauna and Flora, the aboriginals. Despite the subpar weather, she did everything on her power to make sure we can sleep dry age comfortably and to give us extra opportunities to see sun set and sun rise when the weather got better towards the end of the trip. Uluru 4 day rock-rock tour I went on the 4 day rock to rock tour, and it was one of the best trips I have done so far! Central Australia is a beautiful place, Uluru is a place I have wanted to visit for some time, and even in the rain it did not disappoint. The other walks around Kata Tjuta and kings canyon had some breath taking views too. C-Jay was an amazing guide, so friendly, with so much knowledge of the culture and geography of the areas we saw - you can tell she really loves her job, which made the tour all the better! I have to say, my favourite part of the tour was at the bush camp, when we could look up and see the stars - it is definitely worth doing the 4 days just for this. The trip is definitely excellent value for money, with all the travel, and the food included. The only downside I would say, would be the amount of flies around - but as long as you take a flynet, you'll be all good ! If you want to see the highlights of central Australia, in a small tour group, with great tour guides I'd 100% recommend !

We had damper (an Australian desert) cooked on an open fire! It was a once in a life time experience to see the sunrise and sunset every day in the red centre. THE BEST OUTBACK EXPERIENCE! Calling all adventurous spirits! I had THE MOST AMAZING TIME with Mulgas exploring Uluru, Kata-Tjuta, and Kings Canyon -- even in 40*C+ heat. Everything was down-to-earth, raw, and exactly the way you want to experience this dramatic landscape: hiking with knowledgable guides, immersing yourself in the indigenous history and significance of the area, watching the sun rise and set over an otherworldly scene, and sleeping under the wide open sky. This tour is not for the faint of heart. There are bugs, there are wild camels a few meters away from camp (watching them graze in the moonlight from my swag is something I will never forget), and there are a lot of very early mornings. But all of that creates this incredibly genuine camping experience and if you want to experience the outback, this is the perfect quick immersion. I have to give extra props to our legendary guides, CJ and Simon. They made an unforgettable experience also the most fun experience in Australia! Kind, knowledgable, and silly, they made 4AM wake-ups easy, 7km hikes in 40*C safe, and 3+ hour bus rides a laugh. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you so much Mulgas, CJ and Simon, you are one in a million ✨
