Olivia (Liv) was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide who was kind but also ran the trip efficiently and softly encouraged everyone to get to know each other/get out of their comfort zones. I really enjoyed the hikes - I only wish we could’ve gone on longer hikes or maybe done two shorter hikes in a day, but I understand we are limited by the daytime heat and that many areas are off-limits for non-indigenous folks. The stars were one of my favorite parts of the trip, though the sunrises/sunsets were pretty unbeatable as well. Also, do yourself a favor and bring a fly net (even in spring)!! read less

Ben showed us so many beautiful places and teached us about the culture, the plants, animals and geology of Uluru and the surroundings. We always got a lot to eat and snacks for inbetween, you won't starve on this tour! Ben always watched after everyone and made sure everyone was good and happy. He also was so thoughtful all the time, telling us the plans for what to do next, whether this is now the last toilet for the next few hours, and many more little things he did. We had so much fun on this tour with our group and Ben and i can't recommend this tour enough. I am not a camper and was a bit worried about the prospect of camping in swag tents in the bush, but it was an amazing experience and I’ll always remember it! Our guide Alex was amazing - knowledgable, responsible and made sure we all had fun but stayed safe too. We did three hikes, one per day, and the scenery was amazing. We got up early enough to see the sunrise and be finished walking before it got too hot, which was hard when the alarm went off but we all agreed it was so worth it! The food was also really good and vegetarians were catered for, but for meat eaters the meals were super high in protein and very tasty. There were plenty of snacks too, we never went hungry and you could manage without bringing extra snacks (although we chose to) We had a great group of fellow travellers and Alex encouraged us all to get to know each other and we definitely did that. Id 100% recommend for solo travellers! Pick up and drop offs were well organised and pretty flexible to people’s plans too. The camping was brilliant, swags comfortable, campfires cosy, the surround of nature's sounds so relaxing.The tour itself was fantastic. Early starts but to the sounds of some wonderful music playing through the Bluetooth speaker. Loads packed into each day and as it was hot there it was necessary to start early. You get to see some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets and gain the advantage of doing the treks when it's slightly cooler. The guide, Rachel, was awesome. Enthusiastic, funny and hugely insightful about the history and practices of the area. An absolute pleasure to have her as our tour guide.This offers the chance to really switch off from everything, I recommend putting the phone away apart from when taking pictures, the phone will be out a lot for that :D Nourishment wise the food was excellent. I've been on some tours where you would be going rather hungry from time to time. No chance of that here. Abundance of food and a chance to sample a few items you wouldn't normally get too. A all hands on deck approach with prep cooking and wash up. Great for integrating with the group on the first day and I met some really cool people on the tour as a whole too. So far the highlight of our travels through Australia! We had never imagined to find ourselves sleeping under the stars in the outback.We would definitely recommend it to anyone! The tour was very well-organised and the itinerary was really thought through. It covered all the highlights this region has to offer. Laura knew the ins and outs of the area so that we were able to catch beautiful sunrises and views before all the crowds got there. She timed the hikes perfectly to avoid the extreme heat. It was an unforgettable experience of exploring the Australian outback and seeing some of the best landmarks in the country. We were picked up from the Ayers Rock Airport shortly after landing, where we met our friendly and knowledgeable guide, Alex. He drove us in an air-conditioned bus to our first destination, Uluru and we walked around the base of Uluru where Alex shared some information and stories about the culture and geology. In the evening, we watched the sunset over Uluru and toasted with a glass of bubbly before heading back to the campsite for dinner. The next day, we woke up early to witness the sunrise over Uluru (Ayers Rock). It was a magical sight to see the rock changing colors as the sun rose. We then headed to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). We hiked around the stunning rock formations and learned about their cultural significance. We then drove to Kings Canyon (Watarrka) about a 3.5 hour drive, with a couple stops to see a salt lake and Mount Conner and to collect some firewood, where to our exclusive bushcamp, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner and slept under the stars in swags. On the third day we did a hike along the rim of the Kings canyon at sunrise. We saw amazing views of the canyon and the surrounding landscape. We also visited the Garden of Eden, a lush oasis in the middle of the desert. We then returned to our bushcamp in Ylara for another night of camping and stargazing. The tour was well-organized, fun, and informative. Alex was a great guide who shared his passion and knowledge of the outback with us. Felt like we were able to be part of the tour, getting the fires going cooking dinners together, cleaning up etc. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the best of the Australian outback. It was one of the highlights of my trip and I will never forget it. read less

It was a very very impressive tour, so great to see all those magical places like mount Uluru, Kata Tjuṯan and Kings Canyon and walk through the land. Our guide Tegan was the best! She gave us a real good understanding of the aboriginal culture and could not have taught with more respect, dignity and sincerity about her insights she has gained while staying with and talking to members of the aboriginal culture for a long time. It was all very well organised, great spirit and fun with the group. Visiting the Uluru has always been a childhood dream and this tour exceeded all my expectations. Lauren is the best guide I could have ever imagined (although I believe that all the guides are great but I might be a bit biased because Lauren was the perfect fit for our group). She was always in a good mood, positive, informative and you could tell she loved and enjoyed the tour as much as we did! Super organised, chatty, kind and knowledgeable. Straight away he got to know all of us, he project managed all our activities, camp, road trips, toilet breaks and snacks stops, (cut up fruit, apples, cereal bars, chips, dips, Tim tams - Phil had thought of it all) seamlessly, our group gelled well as a result. The weather was perfect and the landscapes were mesmerizing. From exploring the base of Uluru to witnessing unforgettable sunrises and sunsets, every moment was magical.And a big shout out to Alex, our guide, who clearly loves his job and this region (we could feel this passion through his explanations). Both very knowledgeble and friendly. There was an amazing vibe and in the 4 days we did so much exploring. The days were filled with hikes, sunrises, sunset, good food, good campsites and on top of that we learned a lot about the aboriginal culture! You fall asleep under the stars and next to a bonfire which in my opinion is one of the best experiences i've had in Australia.I think this tour is a must do whenever you visit Alice springs or thinking about going to the outback! Just keep in mind that it can get really cold at night and in the early mornings, so make sure you bring enough warm clothes :). read less

Come night time and those 5 stars turn into 5 thousand stars, with each night providing views of the milky way and the often shooting star to wish upon. The group made her feel comfortable. We were lucky to get an awesome group. Definitely a tour suitable for all ages. Our guide Olivia (LIV) was exceptional. It rained the whole time we were there and we were fortunate to experience the waterfall trifecta. Spectacular! Liv took us to see Uluru twice! We saw it dry and we saw the dormant waterfalls spring to life. There are not many tour guides out there that would have continued under these weather conditions. Liv made sure we were safe and I could feel her determination to ensure our experience was memorable was important to her. I could see that Liv loves her job and enjoyed the tour as much as we did. We would not have found out as much local knowledge about this place if it wasn't for the generosity and knowledge that our tour guide Tegan had shared with us. This experience will be engrained in me for life. Tegan also supported me with some major growth over the tour and I did thing's I never thought I could do. The tour itself was fantastic, you spend the first day at Uluru and start at the Cultural Centre which is vital to get a sense of place and to respect the Anangu.You then see some amazing sites around Uluru and finish with the sunset over Uluru. It's an early wake up after a night camping around the campfire and the swag to see sunrise over Kata Tjuta and then the incredible walk through the valley of the winds. Followed by a visit to King's Creek Station and walking Watarrka (King's Canyon). The last night at bush camp was the best around the campfire and no phone reception. Tegan's games made this even more memorable. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough, don't miss it for a truly unique experience. read less

I thought I was unfortunate sitting in the front of the bus next to the driver when we first hopped on the tour at the Uluru airport, but Luke was very good at shooting the sh*t and willing to answer any questions I could throw at him. He proved to be very knowledgeable, coordinated various personalities well, and helped handle logistical issues for some of the tour guests without disrupting the whole tour. She was super knowledgeable and had a wonderful way about explaining the history, cultural aspects and even the geological phenomena that created the incredible formations that we saw. She also took great care to impart upon us the sacredness and cultural importance of these sites to the aboriginal people of Uluru and made sure that we knew where and when it was appropriate to take photographs. Her enthusiasm was contagious and I believe it made the group more eager and adventurous, and - for a better word- “ less cranky” about the awful weather. In fact, she made us all see the heavy rain as a positive, calling us the lucky 2% that get to see waterfalls at these sites. We actually went “chasing waterfalls.”She was able to be flexible and turn on a dime when things didn’t go exactly as planned and made it all seem seamless. Thank you for arranging alternative sleeping arrangements for us on the last night which was meant to be a bush night. It was a wonderful way to end the trip for all. 5 stars for Olivia (Liv)!!! read less

And the heat was crazy! But the experience was so worth while and so well managed. Janner was the best tour guide I could have imagined. He ensured the whole trip ran smoothly, without stress or any surprises. He kept us well informed, well fed and well educated on the area and history etc. We were blown away by how hard he worked at all hours! The desert sunrises and sunsets were worth the long hours. The swags were a totally unique experience, and the best way to emerse totally into setting. Cannot recommend this enough to anyone looking for some adventure and a taste of the red center. Our guide, Adam, was so insightful, I felt safe all the time and he was always willing to help. Despite lacking in sleep and having a lot to do and look after, he was patient and kind. I loved how active we were, food was good considering the facilities and accessibility. I highly recommend getting a fly net, loads of bug spray and in the hot weather, bring a sleeping bag liner instead of a sleeping bag. read less

It was very much out of our comfort zones (being in the bush and camping in swags - when we hadn't camped before!) But our guide, Ewell, made us feel very safe and reassured us throughout the trip. Ewell was full of information and we came away having learnt so much! The views were absolutely spectacular and the hikes were incredible. We feel like it was the perfect amount of a "challenge" for us (and we're nervous city people!) Had read all the good reviews and can honestly say that every expectation was thoroughly exceeded. Our tour guide Olivia was absolutely fantastic, and made the whole group feel relaxed and involved. Really engaging tour, with lots of participating including help set up camp, cooking and collecting firewood. This really made the tour something extra special and felt a sense of achievement at the end of the day relaxing around the campfire. The experience of sleeping under the stars every night is honestly something I'll never forget. The Bush camp (the final night of the 4 day tour) was so cool really feeling like you're properly in the outback. And guess what, she was right. It was worth it as we were able to beat the other groups and we enjoyed the serenity of the sunrise each morning. That’s not even the best bit about this tour. Having Laura (and her energy) around made the group tour extra enjoyable. Laura was able to make the long rides fun—lots of activities and games in between the destinations. And if you like taking pics for your Instagram? Laura knows all the good spots for it. You won’t even have to ask. There’s something about the Laura that’s just so dang cool. Knowledgable and passionate is not enough to describe her. She loves the great outback and you’ll instantly see it in her eyes. This is why everybody loved her after only a few days! The 4-day Uluru-Kata Tjuta-Kings Canyon is a must! I’m telling my friends to do this tour as well. PS. Our group was lucky to be able to see heaps of shootings stars on the first night, lots of lightnings from afar on our third night, Uluru on a rainy morning, and heaps of wildlife (brumbies, emus, rock wallabies, komodo dragons, and what not). I chose the 4 day rock to rock tour with 24 others on mulgas and it was fab. Lauren our tour guide was fantastic. She really thought of everything to make our experience the best it could be - having a music playlist suited to each site we visited, and waking us up for sunrise gently with nice tunes! She had card games and things for us to do on the long car journeys and she was really knowledgeable about every place we visited and the outback in general! After I was quite poorly on one of the days she really helped to make me feel better! The tour itself is amazing, visiting Uluru, Kata Tjuṯa and Kings Canyon and learning a mixture of culture, history and geology. The tour really gives a mixture of everything, all campers chip in with collecting firewood, cooking and cleaning - I would add, as a 25 y/o solo traveller I felt this tour was suited mostly for young backpackers - I really had a great time! I felt safe the whole tour - hiking/driving. We were up very early to start our days and were woken nicely with music and food. I’m vegan and I always had plenty to eat. Lauren even made me a special batch of pancakes on the last morning, which I felt was going above and beyond to make me feel included. Lauren had me or the other vegetarians cook the veggie part of the meals so there was no cross contamination. This tour is for folks who are looking for an adventure among people from around the world, who are willing to help out with cooking/cleaning and like camping under the stars. She was very knowledgeable in her interesting (but random) bush facts and knew the answers to most of our questions. The tour is one of the cheaper ones on offer but in my opinion definitely the best. This is because instead of being put into posh hotels for the nights you get to spend time cooking eating and sharing stories round the campfire together such that by the end of the trip you feel like you have known your fellow tourers for years. By far the best night is the last night when you get the full bush camping experience. You dig your own toilet as a team and help prepare food for cooking on the campfire. An unforgettable experience even without the red rocks we all came to see. read less

We were picked up at our accommodation in Alice Springs on time and our adventure started. Liv drove us to Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon and several stops between over the 4 days. It was a great way to see "the red centre" and it's beautiful sights, I loved camping under the stars and being driven from place to place in the bus. The cultural commentary was clear and easy to understand as were instructions at camp sites and times to be back on the bus and how much free time we had. I highly recommend seeing the great sights of the Northern Territory this way. I'd go again in a heart beat. read less

The scenery is just stunning, a lot of very special places to see in the red center! The tour takes you to a lot of different places and walks around Uluru and Kings Canyon, sunrises, bubbles at sunset, even got to see some camels 😃. Very well organized as well regarding food and camping, we had a bbq, got to try camel burger and kangoroo steak, made a bonfire, sone relaxing time at the pool when the midday heat gets to much etc. And Liv our tourguide did an amazing job keeping the whole group in line and making the trip a fun one. The communication with the office has been fantastic so booking was really easy. Alex was able to pick us up in town instead of waiting at the airport. Uluru was great but nothing like the rest of the trip. Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon were definitely the highlights of the trip. The schedule was perfect; between food prep, setting up camp and cleaning up there was just enough time to enjoy the moment. The trip completely exceeded my expectations thanks to Lauren. From sunrises and sunsets at Uluru, to hiking up heart attack hill at Kings Canyon, it was such an incredible experience!! Lauren was just an exceptional guide and I couldn't have asked for better. She was so much fun, so kind and full of information about all of the sites! We even got a few stories about the stars which I loved! The experience as a whole was amazing from start to finish. It was alot more outback than I expected, but Lauren went out of her way to make us feel more comfortable and after leaning into the experience, I fell in love with swag camping! Sleeping around the campfire and under the stars every night was more magnificent than I ever expected. Food was amazing, getting everyone involved and trying a real aussie bbq of kangaroo! Plenty of fruit and snacks to keep you going throughout the day. The tour is perfect for solo travellers or people in small groups as you have a great mix of both! I met so many amazing people on the trip from all over the world and of all different ages. I would highly recommend this tour to really experience Central Australia, as from living in Sydney this is very different, but in the best way possible! During the whole tour I felt like I was part of some sort of movie. I got sucked in all the stories about the aboriginal culture and it felt like I was living a dream. The food was amazing and sleeping under the stars in a swag is something I’ll never forget. But what the tour made even more unforgettable: the tour guide. Tourguide Tegan is the best tour guide I’ve had so far. The way she speaks: with so much passion and knowledge. Tegan was the bridge between me, a 25-year old backpacker, and the aboriginal culture. Now I understand the way aboriginals live and think way better and I started to admire the culture. Also, Tegan showed us multiple times that she was grateful to be in contact with the aboriginal people and to teach us a bout it. Thank you Mulgas and thank you Tegan! read less

The sunsets and sunrises were gorgeous, and the hikes were also a highlight. Sleeping under the stars was definitely an experience and the campfire on the last day just ended the trip so beautifully. Olivia, our guide, was gentle, and organised and led us to so many scenery places that no photo can describe. She always shared important knowledge about the land, plants, animals, aboriginal culture as well as many funny stories. The camping experience made the relationship within the group of previously unknown people grow stronger and the local food experience was amazing. I would suggest adding a pair of garden gloves as required equipment, once it makes the wood collection safer. read less

Along the way lots of interesting information and photo opportunities. You have to be fine with getting up really early, but therefore you get to see beautiful sunrises. The food was delicious and sleeping around the campfire was nice. You could see the beautiful stars and the swags kept us really warm. Overall an unforgettable trip that I can recommend! read less

Everything was so seemless and timed so well! Picked up with ease from the airport by our fabulous guide Lauren. We explored Uluṟu, learned about the culture and had champagne at sunset. The days at Kata Juta and kings canyon were equally amazing! We camped each night under the stars in sleeping bags and swags. I was extremely nervous about camping but Lauren reassured us throughout. I’m a vegetarian, the food was so tasty and versatile. Even got some veggie Bolognese cooked on the campfire and pancakes on the last day! The scenery is amazing but Lauren really made the trip so special! Her knowledge and respect for local culture was so evident. She was so enthusiastic and kept us all entertained even on the longer drives with bus trivia and great music! We were so lucky we got to experience the Australian outback with such an amazing guide ❤️ ✨ Book the 4d/3n tour, bush camp was amazing and 3 days just isn’t enough! read less

It was a wholesome 'no frills attached' exploration of the area. We slept under the stars in swags and despite it being absolutely freezing, we were nice and warm in our -10 degree rated sleeping bags and hot showers. Food was plentiful also, and I definitely didn't go hungry as a vegetarian (vegans were catered well for too).Our guide Phil (aka Dill), was an absolute legend and a wealth of knowledge. As a solo female traveller, I felt completely safe the entire time and made lots of amazing new friends. The whole area is so beautiful and I 100% recommend this trip. read less

Had Simon as a tour guide and he's been the best! Very chill and hilarious. Food was great and we got to try different meats which was an interesting experience. Very well fed nonetheless. The tour had just the amount of hiking for the non experienced and there was plenty of time to socialize and get to know each other instead of being strangers on a tour. read less
